RE: Crushing Kids
I'm sorry, but I see nothing wrong in 8-year old kids holding hands and exchanging gifts. Let innocence be. I think that the article's whole approach is wrong. What a way to wreck a child's life early on. This basically tells the children that girls and boys cannot be friends. It sounds to me like there's an overreaction and some dirty minds on the adults' parts. They seem to immediately leap to the conclusion that the children are about to jump into sex.
Maybe the adults, including the author of the article, should reevaluate themselves before they start talking to their kids.
